We have had a great month of Shark fishing for the month of March. We are chatching a variety of Sharks off Fort Lauderdale and the species are Hammerhead, Black Tip, Mako and Dusky. Our boat has been targeting edible fish (Mahi and Wahoo) then we target the Sailfish in 150' of water. If we are successful in capturing the above species, we then try for Sharks. This is the time of the year when the migration of sharks come and we are heeeeereee to get them. We use dead bait (Bonito or Mackerel) and use these baits off the bottom of Ft. Lauderdale reef system and typically is offshore fishing. We are in about 350 feet of water. The success ratio for March has been great!! Catching almost all species. WE DO LET THEM GO, just for sportfishing.
