 We had a great shark season in Ft. Lauderdale. Catching a variety of sharks (Mako, Hammerhead, Lemon, Bull Shark and Brown Sharks). The best method of shark fishing is to have a bait on the bottom of the area you are fishing, our best area is in 350 feet of water. Also you would want to put a bait down about 150 feet which is you mid bait and lastly a surface bait which you are covering all columns of the water depth.
Fishing for sharks is fun and almost every charter on the Happy Day Today have a blast catching shark.
The bait used is a Bonito or a Mackerel and also use a chum bag. When shark fishing, the sharks can smell the blood in the water miles away, with the right current and some luck, you'll be hooked up to a nice shark. |
