 Started the morning out fishing for Mahi-Mahi offhsore of Fort Lauderdale and ended up catching 4 fish ranging in the 10 to 12 lb range. After 3 hours offshore, we came into fish in 350 feet of water, the young female angler wanted to catch a Hammerhead Shark as a trophy on her wall. We put the shark baits out in 350 feet and also used dead/live bait to attract the sharks. About 45 minutes into the soaking the baits, we got a huge bite, Jenn ended up fighting this beast for an hour and half and we got the fish in, what a great time and way to go Jenn. Fort Lauderdale can bring some big sharks and we have a successful year catching Sailfish, Shark, Mahi and Mackerel.
