Fort Lauderdale Fishing Report, Sailfish trolling Ballyhoos off Ft Lauderdale

We were lucky to get this nice Sail while trolling Ballyhoos in about 165' of water. There are a good number of wrecks and reef structure that hold good current edges. Trolling along and around the area will produce Mahi and Sailfish. Using fresh dead bait at the right applicaiton will produce great results. We also use baits deep and has proven over and over to be hot. Using 4 or 5 surface baits and one or two deep baits will give the appearence of a live school of fish.
