Fort Lauderdale Fishing Report, Sailfish off Ft. Lauderdale

We are still having a Sails coming through, this has been a decent year and May is showing good numbers of Sailfish where as last couple years ago the migration was not as strong. This fish like most Sails weighed around 40 to 45 pounds and fought hard. They are very active fish and their acrobatic and hard runs make for a good fight. Also we have been targeting Black Fin Tuna. The average tuna size is anywhere from 8 to 25 pounds and we are catching these Tuna in 400 to 500 feet of water by both trolling and live bait.
