Check out some of the old photos taken from Captain Tommy Zsak back in the 1980's.

This photo was taken in the early 80's where the charter boat "Happy Day Today" was a 46' wood hull AndyMortenson. Since then we have purchased a fiberglass 46' Hatteras.

This day was a good one, six Sailfish releases and the charter kept one to put in his smoker for smoked fish dip. The fishing for Sailfish has been good back in the late 70's, through the 80's and 90's. Now just this past winter, we did have another great Sailfish season. The best time to catch Sails is from December to April. The very best months typically are from mid January, all of February and March.

That is the big migration of Atlantic Sailfish, we do catch Sails year round. For example in the month of July we did catch 4 Sailfish. There are resident Sails that we have here year round and some linger from Miami to the Palm Beaches.
