Fishing has been a little slower this last week, we still are catching Sailfish and Mahi-Mahi, however not as consistent and as many as we have been over the last month. After this next cold front moves past Fort Lauderdale, I would except for South Florida deep sea fishing to go off.
We ended up catching a bunch of live baits and using them in 200 feet of water. Just about 3 miles offshore we ened up catching a Monster Barracuda and ended up in total size of 62". Also we are catching some King Mackerel and they have been averaging 8 to 15 pounds and some of the "Somker Kings" which weigh around 25 to 30 have been seen and caught this last week. Call Captain Tommy Zsak for a deep sea fishing charter off ft lauderdale.
