 We continue to have seady fishing action with King Mackerel and Mahi-Mahi offshore fishing and inshore fishing. Trolling has been very effective as most of our bites have been in 120 to 150 feet of water for Kings and the offshore bite for Mahi has been in 500 to 600 feet of water. There has been a decent rip current and fishing the current line has been productive for Mahi- Mahi and Wahoo heading against the current. We have had a push of North current that causes weedlines, bait concentration and really does turn on the bite. Also with the steady wind we have been kite fishing off Ft. Lauderdale for Sailfish, our Sail bite has been off to a good start as our charter boat as well as other charter boats on the dock have produced a good indication of Sails. The season starts in the Winter and goes through to the start of summer. |
