 A strong month for catching Sailfish, in the last 5 years, this January may be the best bite we have seen. Each trip we are seeing Sailfish and also catching Mahi-Mahi, Mackerel and Shark. The best method is using live bait "Goggle eyes" and the best depth is in 130 out to 200+ feet of water.
The different depths depend on current, bait concentration and wrecks. Fort Lauderdale has many wrecks and we do fish on and around thse wrecks.
